Aaron Curry Frustrated by Seahawks' Defense Missing Tackles

If the Seattle Seahawks want to get back to the playoffs, they're going to have to do a better job of tackling.

The Saints racked up 494 yards of total offense against Seattle Sunday, the third time in the last four games they've allowed at least 475 yards in a game.

"It was a lot of missed tackles,'' linebacker Aaron Curry told the Seattle Times. "We missed a lot of tackles that were turned into big plays. Big plays always are the result of missed tackles.''

New Orleans had no shortage of big plays, including clicking on 11 of 15 third-down tries, three of those plays third-and-10 or longer.

"When we don't play well on third down, we have trouble,'' coach Pete Carroll said. "That was what happened.''
