INDIANAPOLIS -- Peyton Manning said the solution remains simple.Manning, speaking in the wake of the Indianapolis Colts' fourth loss in five games, said the answer to his team's woes has nothing to with injuries or excuses.
He must play better, he said, and that means reducing interceptions. Plain and simple.
And Manning, the Colts' 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback and a four-time Associated Press Most Valuable Player, said something else is true, too:
The Colts' improvement has to start now.
"I have to play better," Manning said late Sunday afternoon after his four interceptions led to 20 points in the Colts' 38-35 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys in front of 67,471 at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis.
